A brother requested
Musa asks Allah for a helper from his family: Harun, his brother, to strengthen him and share his task. Allah grants the request.
Sent together
Musa describes Harun as more eloquent in speech. The brothers are commanded to carry Allah’s signs to Pharaoh, speak gently, and remain constant in remembrance.
Entrusted with the people
When Musa goes to the appointed meeting, Harun is told to take his place, act rightly, and not follow those who spread corruption.
The test of the calf
Harun warns that the calf is a test and calls the people to the Most Compassionate. When Musa returns, Harun says that the people deemed him weak and almost killed him, and that he feared dividing the Children of Israel.
